*The examiner will ask you to show your ID. Besides, the previous questions could be rephrased in different ways. In essence, they will request this information from you.

Can you spell your family name for me, please?

……………………………………………………………………………………….

Thank you. Where are you from?

……………………………………………………………………………………….

Part 1 (3 minutes)

Examiner: Now Part One. I’m going to ask you some questions about yourself and your ideas.

*The examiner can ask you from 3 to 5 questions depending on the length of your answer. Keep talking until they tell you to stop or calculate your answer to be around 30 seconds. The questions will not be displayed on the screen. You will not see the timer on the screen, so time management is intuitive.

Family: What skills do you need to manage a family?

……………………………………………………………………………………….

Food: What do you think are the typical dishes when doing a picnic?

……………………………………………………………………………………….

Sports: Which is the best way to pay your/the gym membership?

……………………………………………………………………………………….

Part 2 (3 minutes)

Examiner: Now Part Two. We are going to role-play some situations. I want you to start or respond.

*Approximately two turns each. Interact with the examiner and ask them questions.

  1. We’re friends. I think I should go and see a doctor. I have a new spot on my back and it looks different from the rest of my moles. I start.

  1. We’re co-workers. A person both of you know is visiting Madrid. She is looking for a traditional Madrilenian place to eat. You start.

Part 3 (4 minutes)

Apparently, there are two ways in which you could be asked to do this task. The first one is to pick 3 bubbles and speak about them; the second one is to debate about some of the bubbles with the proctor, agreeing and disagreeing. Let’s practise both ways.

You have 20 seconds in which to look at this part and think about what to say.

*In Part Four you can have a piece of paper and a pencil to write. The examiner will ask you, at least, one follow-up question.

Speak about how the government can help promote a healthy lifestyle.

……………………………………………………………………………………….

Follow-up question: To your mind, are the current measures taken by the government enough?
