Read both opinions and write a letter addressed to the journal’s editor to convey your standpoint about both points of view. In addition, transmit your general thoughts on the newspaper.

It stands to reason that our educational system is way too feeble when it comes to values such as discipline and effort. As a public servant and a mother, I think that nowadays teachers are too flexible with students. Youngsters should comply with the rules if we want civic citizens in the future.
Edgar Conrad:
Some days ago, I learned the government is planning to sanction a new decree-law to regulate education even more. Are you serious? Kids need their creativity to be boosted, not the other way round. What’s more, they should decide the contents of the curriculum instead of the teachers.
